A revamped Daniel Island Farmers Market is being considered for 2019 and the Daniel Island POA is currently engaged in the initial planning process and a key component in this effort is to gain resident feedback and gauge your level of interest via a Daniel Island Farmers Market Community Survey.
A successful Farmers Market facilitates personal connections and ongoing relationships between farmers, vendors and shoppers in a community and offers a gathering place where farmers and small businesses sell their fresh, local products directly to consumers.
This survey will serve as a tool to assist us in focusing our efforts on what the Daniel Island residents want in a Market or don’t feel is necessary and what types of products would they be interested in purchasing on a regular basis. Your answers to these survey questions will help us gather information and is key in moving the plan forward in a direction that will be mutually beneficial to the consumer and the vendor.
In addition to receiving input on the market itself, the POA office is looking for a volunteer committee to help with the planning and logistics of the Market.
