Daniel Island’s playgrounds have been enjoyed by residents and guests alike. As Daniel Island Community Association (DICA) continues to improve Daniel Island’s playgrounds and amenities, the DICA Board is excited to share the installation of the Miracle Recreation Physics Full Moon Climber at Center Park right (west side) playground area, which will accommodate kids from ages 5-12.
This area currently held a wooden blue and yellow tower, which began aging over the last few years and will be replaced by the Full Moon Climber. The existing swings and merry-go-round equipment will remain to complement the new Moon Climber. Please see the below renderings which showcase the Full Moon Climber.
The removal of the old playground began this week, April 24th. The installation of the new playground will begin on April 26th and is anticipated to be completed by May 12th, depending on the weather.
We are looking forward to improving this great playground and park.
