The Daniel Island Yacht Club is pleased to announce its Spring & Summer Junior Sailing Program for 2025. These programs will be led by their Junior Sailing Director Noah Clarke. Noah Clarke has been sailing for close to a decade and is a level 1 certified US Sailing Instructor hailing from Hilton Head Island. While there, he competed for South Carolina Yacht Club under the tutelage of Yachting Director Mark Newman. He has competed in both the local SAYRA circuit and national competitions including the C420 Midwinters and ILCA Nationals. Noah later went on to coach at SCYC for 3 years and assisted with running their extensive Summer Sailing Program. Noah has been at DIYC since September of 2024 and assisted with their fall sailing program.
Spring Sailing Program – Spring will be split into two sessions, one in April & one in May on Tuesday & Thursday nights from 4:00 pm-6:30 pm ages 8-14
- Session 1 (April) Will be 4 weeks long & $400.
- April 1st, 3rd, 8th, 10th, 15th, 17th, 22nd, 24th
- Session 2 (May) Will be 5 weeks long & $500.
- April 29th, May 1st, 6th, 8th, 13th, 15th, 20th, 22nd, 27th, 29th
Summer Sailing Program – This year’s summer program will be available to sailors ages 8-14. Each session will be Monday-Friday from 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Each session will be $450 a sailor
- Session 1: June 2nd-6th
- Session 2: June 9th-13th
- Session 3: June 16th-20th
- Session 4: June 23rd-27th
- Session 5: July 7th-11th
- Session 6: July 14th-18th
- Session 7: July 21st-25th
- Session 8: July 28th-August 1st
