The City of Charleston will be pruning palm trees along Barfield Street, Pierce Street, Etiwan Park Street, and Seven Farms Drive on Wednesday, July 8, and Thursday, July 9, weather permitting.
To help crews safely and efficiently complete this work, residents are asked to refrain from parking in front of or near any palm trees located within the public right-of-way (the area between the curb and sidewalk) on these days.
Motorists traveling through these areas should also expect temporary lane closures or minor traffic delays while crews are working. Please use caution, reduce your speed, and follow any posted traffic control measures to help ensure the safety of workers and motorists.
