Accidents Happen…Please help us prevent them by making sure your little ones are wearing swim diapers and are taking frequent toilet breaks.
When accidents happen in the pool, we are required to close the facility to all swimmers and sun bathers for proper disinfection and protection of patron health. Accidents have potential to cause illness. All accidents are not equal with regard to illness potential. Staff response and pool closure times will vary depending on the form of accident that is present.
Facility closures allow time for proper disinfection and help prevent recreational water illnesses (RWI’s). It is important for patrons to understand that accidents are not always avoidable, but in most cases they are. Swim diapers on young children and frequent bathroom breaks for all can be the difference between healthy swimming and facility closure.
