As of Wednesday, October 14th, the Swim Charleston Swim Team will begin practice at the Pierce Park Pool and the swim schedule has changed to include more resident swim times.
During practice hours, Monday – Friday from 4 PM – 7 PM and Saturdays 9 AM – 12 PM, the Swim Charleston Swim team has exclusive use of the Pierce Park Pool. The swim team will sanitize the pool area, the bathrooms and all touch surfaces before it reopens for resident use after practice.
Sweetwater Pools will conduct their normal cleaning and sanitizing of the pools and all surfaces every morning prior to opening at 5 AM. We are relying on residents to follow all rules to maintain a safe swimming environment.
The current occupancy number of 75 swimmers at a time will remain in place for all swim times as well as the swim team. We no longer have gate attendants to monitor use or conduct periodic cleaning so we ask that residents please sanitize their area after visiting the pool, follow the mask ordinance in the bathrooms and when entering/exiting the pool and keep a 6ft distance between other families and neighbors.

Weekdays (Mon – Fri)

- 4 PM – 7 PM Closed for Swim Charleston Practice
- 7 PM – 10 PM Resident Swim
Saturday
- 5 AM – 9 AM Resident Swim
- 9 AM – 12 PM Closed for Swim Charleston Practice
- 12 PM – 10 PM Resident Swim
Sunday
- 5 AM – 10 PM Resident Swim
Please keep in mind that we are still in Phase 1 reopening. Only residents will be allowed to enter the pools during Phase 1. At this time, no guests and no programming, other than contracted programming (Swim Charleston Swim team), will be allowed.
Please Note: the Scott Park and Edgefield Park Pools are closed for the season.
