The Bishop England Swim Team At States!

October 11, 2022

The State Swim Meet was quite a success for both the girls and boys teams at Bishop England High School.

The girls team is the 3-A State Champions. In addition, the girls 200 Free Relay (Mia Devito, Mackenzie LeVeen, Carley Foust, and Ellie Chalupsky), and the 400 Free Relay (Ellie Chalupsky, Carley Foust, Zoe Dewitt, and Lindsay Burbage) are State Champs in those events.

The BE boys placed 5th, but not without making a statement. Justin Hafner is the State Champion in the 200 and 500 Freestyle, Owen Fritts is the State Champion in the 200 IM, and 100 Breaststroke and Matthew Picard is the State Champion in the 100 Free. The boys 200 and 400 Free Relays (Justin, Owen, Matthew, and Asher Western) are also State Champions.
