The Daniel Island Property Owners’ Association is offering the option to purchase patriotic bunting as a fundraising effort for the Palmetto Freedom Fest. The hope is that owners will paint the town with patriotic pride for Veteran’s Day this year! Veteran’s Day is on November 11th. Profits from the bunting sales will benefit the Folds of Honor.
The Folds of Honor Foundation provides scholarships to the children and spouses of fallen or critically wounded soldiers. These scholarships make a significant impact on the families that have sacrificed so much for our FREEDOM. The Palmetto Freedom Fest is an annual concert where all of the profits go directly to South Carolina families in need of educational support through scholarship awards.
This year, the 2nd annual Palmetto Freedom Fest benefitting Folds of Honor is set to take the stage on Friday, November 4th, and Saturday, November 5th. The first night will provide the same intimate experience as the 2021 Palmetto Freedom Fest on the grand lawn at Credit One Stadium and feature Edwin McCain and Lauren Hall. The second night will be an incredible party and concert at Credit One Stadium featuring country superstars Lee Brice and Big & Rich.
In order to purchase the patriotic bunting, please see the “HOW TO” details below. The deadline for purchase will be October 15th in order to receive it by the first of November in time for Veteran’s Day on November 11th. Once the bunting order is in, owners will be contacted for pick up at the POA office. A limited quantity will be available, and we expect to sell out quickly, so be sure and purchase early!
Bunting Cost and Details:
This beautiful patriotic stars and stripes bunting is $50.00 per section of bunting which covers the cost of the bunting as well as a donation to Folds of Honor. The bunting is 3′ x 6′ and is a poly-cotton material with grommets at the top for ease of hanging. The bunting is a great investment and can be used not only during the Veteran’s Day celebration and holiday, but also on other patriotic holidays such as July 4th, Labor Day, Flag Day, and Memorial Day.
