The 2026 Daniel Island Town Association (DITA) Board of Directors election is right around the corner. One candidate has submitted a nomination for the one DITA Board of Directors position. The candidate is Colby Hollifield. Even though we have 1 candidate and there is only 1 position to be filled on the DITA Board, we must have 10% of Members participate in the election.
Below is some information regarding the upcoming election, as well as the candidate photo and bio.
- 1 Director will be elected by the Daniel Island Town Association (DITA) Members via an Electronic election starting on October 20th, beginning at 6:00 AM, ending on October 30th, at 6:00 PM.
- If you are unable to vote electronically in the 2026 election of 1 DITA Board Member:
- You may fill out and sign a secure paper ballot at the POA office at 130 River Landing Drive, Suite 1-C, Monday-Thursday, 9 AM – 4 PM, October 20 – October 30. Your ballot will remain sealed until October 26th, when it will be counted with the electronic votes that are received.
- During this election time, you may vote by telephone by calling (844) 797-4575 (9 am-6 pm, ET) to speak with a Vote-Now specialist.
- You may also assign your vote by proxy by submitting in writing your address and signature and delivering it to the POA office at 130 River Landing Drive, Suite 1-C.
- Only Daniel Island Town Association (DITA) Members can vote via an electronic election.
- This election is for the Daniel Island Town Association (DITA) Membership only.
- Individual condominium owners do not vote individually; instead, their respective condominium association for the condominium regime will be entitled to cast the vote on behalf of all of the subject condominium unit owners.
- 1 vote per property
- Each property is allotted only one vote by the Member or the chosen representative for the Member.
- You must choose 1 of the 1 candidate. If you do not choose 1, your vote will not count.
- The first email with voting information will be sent to DITA Members/Chosen representative for the Member on the first day of the election, October 20th between 6 AM and 9 AM (emails are sent in batches by the voting software).
- The email will come from the email address “elections@vote-now.com“
- The email included a voting website and a unique voting code.
- If you do not receive an email, please check your spam folder.
- Need 10% of DITA Members to vote for the election to be valid by meeting our quorum requirement. This means a total of 10 properties need to vote to validate the election. Even though we have 1 candidate and there is only 1 position to be filled on the DITA Board, we must have 10% of Members participate in the election.
