Join your friends and neighbors for the best way to kick off the fall season! The Daniel Island School PTA and The Daniel Island Community Fund welcome you to the HALLOWEEN BASH followed by the PUMPKIN WALK on Sunday, October 29 at Smythe Park!
This fun event for the entire family includes music, food, activities, and lots of fun! You are encouraged to wear your costume and join us on the Smythe Lake lawn. Then after the sun sets, wander down the lit paths around the lake to view all of the twinkling jack o’lanterns carved by the DI school and your community neighbors.
Event Timeline and Additional Details:
- The event starts at 5 PM on Sunday, October 29th
- If you would like your carved/decorated pumpkin displayed on the walk please drop it off (with a battery-operated tea light) to the volunteers at Smythe Park between 1-3 PM on Sunday.
- Helpers will be located at the entrance to the park on the corner of Daniel Island Drive and Purcell Lane, the corner closest to the Daniel Island School.
- Please note that after the event you will be able to take your pumpkin home if you wish to keep it! Any pumpkins remaining in the park after 8 AM Monday morning will be discarded.
