Firefly Distillery is spreading cheer by releasing a limited run, Cask Strength Bourbon on Tuesday, December 12. In keeping with its annual tradition, the special barrel proof release will honor co-owner Jim Irvin’s special 77th birthday.
A thoughtful gift for the whiskey enthusiast, the exclusive bourbon will only be available at the distillery in Park Circle from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Bottled at 121.6 proof with a limited quantity available, this bourbon will be sold for $77 in honor of Jim’s birthday.
Free to attend, guests can arrive at 5 p.m. and receive a number, marking their place in line. This offers guests the chance to sip on specialty bourbon-crafted cocktails and browse the expansive gift shop while they await their coveted Cask Strength bottle. Bottles will be signed by Firefly owners Jim Irvin and Scott Newitt, making it a unique and special gift this holiday season.
After individuals snag a bottle, guests are encouraged to stay for a fun night of trivia in the Firefly Room from 6 – 8 p.m.
