Celebrate Arbor Day with the Charleston Parks Conservancy!
Charleston Trees, sponsored by Dominion Energy, Bartlett Tree Experts, and the Daniel Island Community Fund is excited to celebrate Arbor Day on Thursday, April 25th! The Conservancy is hosting two events for attendees to learn from local arborists, Talkin’ Trees and a Tree Identification Walk. Cameron Rickett of Bartlett Tree Experts will be hosting the second Talkin’ Trees lecture of 2024 and Ash Connelly of Charleston Tree Experts-SavATree will be leading a Tree Identification Walk with assistance from Charleston Parks Conservancy Horticulture Manager and Certified Arborist, Robert McCombs.
All events are free and open to the public. Complimentary lunch will be provided to all attendees. Registration is required click HERE to register!
Session 1: 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM

**Guests can select one workshop to attend or make a day of it and register for a morning and afternoon one! Complimentary lunch is included with your registration.
Lunch will be provided from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM and will feature guest speakers Beth Bush, who will discuss botanist Martha Daniel Logan and her impact on horticulture, and Darlene Heater, Executive Director and CEO for the Charleston Parks Conservancy.
In addition, the Conservancy will be giving away 150 native trees! Six species will be available to choose from.
