Join in on September 16th at 8:30 AM in front of the City of Charleston Fire Station on Daniel Island for the 2023 Charleston, SC 9/11 Heroes Run.
The 9/11 Heroes Run unites communities internationally with the goal to never forget the sacrifices of the heroes of September 11th and the wars since, veterans, first responders, civilians, and the military.
The run will impact traffic on Saturday 9/16/23. Please see the race route and closures below:
- Seven Farms from River Landing to Pier View will be closed from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. for event setup.
- For the course, roads will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. or sooner, roads will open as the last runner passes.

- As in past years, it is suggested that residents plan ahead, and if they know they are going to need to leave the island during the race, they park their car on a street that is not impacted by the closure.
