The Lowcountry Race for the Cure will take place on Saturday, October 21st.
Road closures, per Charleston Police, will be at 8:10 and will reopen as soon as the Race is complete.
Seven Farms Drive between Volvo Car Stadium and River Landing Drive will be closed at 6:00 am. All roads on the race route including Daniel Island Drive will be closed from 8:00 am to 10:30 am. Race organizers will be placing door hangers on residences and businesses that are located on the race route with detailed information.
Promptly at 8:20 A.M., the Kids Dash will begin with the Fun Run/Walk to kick-off at 8:45. The Fun Run/Walk will begin at the corner of Seven Farms and River Landing Dr. and continue down Seven Farms to Daniel Island Drive and return to the finish line at Family Circle Stadium. The 5k Run/Walk timed/untimed will begin at 9:15 A.M. at the corner of Seven Farms Drive and River Landing will go down Seven Farms Drive making a left on Daniel Island Drive and continue throughout the neighborhoods and end up back by Family Circle Cup Stadium. It is the organizers sincerest wish not to inconvenience the neighborhoods, but there will be traffic delays and road closures along the race course.

Third Eye Blind will be performing at the Volvo Car Stadium on Saturday, October 21st from 8 – 11 pm. Although there will be no road closures, for your convenience, you may wish to consider alternate routes (either Daniel Island Drive or Clements Ferry Road) as these may be easier for resident travel.
