City Of Charleston Holiday Collection Schedule
Christmas and New Years Holidays
As of now, trash collection will continue as usual during both weeks of the upcoming holidays. Please check the City of Charleston website, TrashTracker App, or call the Citizens Services Desk at (843) 714-7311 for updates or if your collection was missed.
Christmas Tree Collection
Christmas tree collection will start on January 6th. Trees must be placed curbside so that the City’s equipment can reach them. Trees must be free of any and all decorations and tensile. No artificial trees should be placed out for collection with real trees.
TrashTracker App
The City of Charleston Environmental Services Division launched ‘CHS TrashTracker,’ a new mobile app that delivers garbage, trash, and street sweeping service reminders to city residents via email, text message, and phone call.
The app allows users located within city limits to enter their street address and access their area’s garbage and trash collection schedules, which can then be printed or synced with Apple, Google, or Microsoft calendars.
In addition to regular service reminders, ‘CHS TrashTracker’ provides schedule change alerts and helpful information about other city services. The app also allows users to quickly and easily submit work order requests to various city departments.
‘CHS TrashTracker’ is now available for download on Apple or Android smartphones.
