CourtReserve Pool Reservation System Will Be Suspended As Of July 6th

June 24, 2020

Throughout the past two months, the Daniel Island POA has been monitoring the use of the DICA pools and the pool reservation software. Due to the fact that there is currently availability at least one of the community pools during any of the swimming time slots, there is not a need to continue use of a pool reservation system. The last day a reservation through Court Reserve will be needed is Sunday, July 5th. All reservations after July 5th will be cancelled in the Court Reserve system.

Beginning on Monday, July 6th, resident use of the three DICA pools will be on a first come first served basis. The current swim schedule (below) will remain in place as will the current occupancy number of 75 swimmers at a time. Our gate attendants will have a counter in hand to ensure compliance with occupancy numbers and residents will need their pool fob to enter the pool gates. Should you arrive at the pool and discover that the pool is currently at the 75 person capacity, you are welcome to wait outside the gates, socially distanced, until available slots are open or instead choose to try one of our other 2 pools that may not be at capacity at that time.

Swim Schedule:

  • 5 AM – 7 AM – Lap Swim
  • 7 AM – 9 AM – Closed for cleaning
  • 9 AM – 11 AM – Pools Open for Swimming
  • 11 AM – 12 PM – Closed for cleaning
  • 12 PM -2 PM – Pools Open for Swimming
  • 2 PM – 3 PM – Closed for cleaning
  • 3 PM – 5 PM – Pools Open for Swimming
  • 5 PM – 6 PM – Closed for cleaning
  • 6 PM – 8 PM – Pools Open for Swimming

Please keep in mind that we are still in Phase 1 reopening. Only residents will be allowed to enter the pools during Phase 1. No guests and no programming will be allowed.

We appreciate your continued patience and we hope you have a fun and safe summer.
