A Message From Your Berkeley County Government

February 23, 2018

Berkeley County Public Meeting:

Berkeley County will host a community meeting on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Philip Simmons High School at 6 PM.

The public will have an opportunity to hear from Berkeley County leaders, including Berkeley County Supervisor Bill Peagler, Chief of Berkeley County Emergency Medical Services Matt Lindewirth, Berkeley County Sheriff Duane Lewis, as well as a representative from the City of Charleston. The public will hear updates on Clements Ferry Road improvements, development in the region, emergency services, public safety, and more.

After the presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions to County representatives.

This meeting is part of an ongoing effort to ensure input from local communities remains a priority in the County.

“The Cainhoy Peninsula and Daniel Island region is thriving and seeing tremendous success,” Berkeley County Supervisor Bill Peagler. “Great things are ahead for the area. Berkeley County leaders want to ensure improvements are being made and citizens’ needs are being met. It is our priority to see that the area continues to prosper and that quality of life improves for its residents. We are focused on informing residents and gathering feedback to provide support where needed as we continue our mission toward a smart and responsible growth.”
