Now in its second year, The Pinwheels in the Park Children’s Fair will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025, 11 AM – 2 PM in its new location at the Daniel Island Waterfront Park. April is National Prevention of Child Abuse Month and this event honors the safety of children everywhere. This free and fun event is sponsored by the Daniel Island Exchange Club and The Daniel Island Community Fund. This event will be held rain or shine.

Already a family destination with a playground, picnic tables, and an engaging fountain, the Daniel Island Waterfront Park will be transformed into a fair like atmosphere with jugglers, stilt-walkers, a balloon art tent, a tattoo station, stilt walkers, a magician, a musician with a guitar to play children’s songs and more. There will be free popcorn, and they will also host a variety of family-friendly games such as corn hole, a fishing pond, bowling, Tug of War, a 3-legged race, and of course, a multitude of prizes to be had!

There will also be an information Tent with information on some of the local Children’s Charities advocating for children’s safety and a world where all children grow up safe, nurtured, and free from abuse.
