Lowcountry Buddy Walk

The Lowcountry Buddy Walk 2025 will be held on Sunday, October 19th, at Etiwan Park on Daniel Island from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. This will be a fun-filled day full of jump castles, face painting, arts and crafts, food, and live music. At 3:00 PM, you will walk together through the neighborhood to celebrate the teams and your favorite buddies.

The annual Buddy Walk mission remains the same:

  • Spreading awareness of friends and family with Down Syndrome and everything that they bring to the world
  • Raising money to help DSAL’s efforts to support the members with DS and their families

Registration will include this year’s t-shirt and any event activities, and it also makes each registrant eligible to win online and fundraising prizes. Shirts can be picked up by team captains at the registration tent at the Lowcountry Buddy Walk. As in the past, the members with Down Syndrome can register for free.
