The Daniel Island Community Foundation is hosting a food drive benefitting local blessing boxes from November 1st – November 20th.
Blessing Boxes are stocked with non-perishable food items, basic toiletries, baby supplies, and anything else that might be considered a blessing to someone who finds themselves in need. Blessing Boxes are available to those in need, day or night. Only one simple rule applies – Leave what you can, take what you need.
This holiday season, the Daniel Island Community Foundation and the Daniel Island POA will be collecting non-perishable food items, basic toiletries, baby supplies, and anything else that might be considered a blessing. Throughout the duration of the collection, items donated will be distributed to local Blessing Boxes by our Daniel Island POA staff members.
Collection will take place Wednesday, November 1st through Monday, November 20th so that supplies can be delivered in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Please drop off items at the POA office – 130 River Landing Drive, Suite 1C during office hours Monday-Thursday from 9 AM – 4 PM.
