The speaker’s series will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Daniel Island Club. The speaker will be Olympic swimmer Jenny Thompson. This lady is an icon. She won 12 Olympic swimming medals over the course of four different Olympics – eight of those medals were gold. This is an inspirational message that will warm your heart. You do not want to miss it.
The Daniel Island Speaker Series is excited to host another very highly anticipated event on Tuesday, February 11th, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the ballroom at the Daniel Island Club. Their featured guest will be Dr. Jenny Thompson, the longtime most decorated US female Olympian with 12 medals in swimming, 8 of them gold! Incredibly, all of this was before she completely pivoted her career into becoming an anesthesiologist and now practicing at the VA Medical Center right here in Charleston!
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be in the Olympics? What is it like to be in the quest and glory of setting world records? Or to completely reinvent yourself and your career?
