Swimming Pools
The Daniel Island Community Association currently maintains three swimming pools at Pierce Park, Scott Park, and Edgefield Park.
All three pools are salwater pools and are heated and cooled accordingly.
Pierce Park Pool – 1801 Pierce Street
The Pierce Park Pool is a 25-meter, six-lane pool open seven days a week from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, though hours may vary with seasonal programming.
This pool is exclusively for members of the Daniel Island Community Association and their guests. Guests must be accompanied by a resident at all times.
In spring 2025, the pool was upgraded with two new gas heater/chiller units and converted into a saltwater pool. In summer 2025, it will receive a replacement Big Bopper heater/chiller, an additional unit that enhances the standard heaters/chillers and helps keep the pool open year-round.
The Pierce Park Pool is not available for pool parties or special events but is open for swim lessons during the “Off Season” when the other two pools are closed.
Edgefield Park Pool – 1651 Oak Leaf Street
The Edgefield Park Pool is currently closed. It will open for the 2025 season on Saturday, April 5th.
The Edgefield Park Pool is a saltwater pool open seven days a week from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, though hours may vary with seasonal programming.
