The Pirates Park Playground at Smythe Park is undergoing repairs on one of the three slides on the pirate ship. The upper deck will be closed until all repairs have been completed and have been approved by a certified playground safety inspector. Our Field Operations team will be supervising the repairs and have closed off the area with caution tape and signage. For your safety, please do not enter the cordoned areas and watch children at all times.
In the coming months, there will be significant renovations to the Pirate Park Playground. When renovations begin, the park will be closed and will have signage. An announcement will also be sent out prior to installation and after completion via our Newsletter and Facebook.
