The Daniel Island Community 3rd of July Parade will travel from Etiwan Park to Smythe Park, requiring intermittent street closures along the southbound lane of Daniel Island Drive (from Seven Farms Drive toward Smythe Park). The northbound lane of Daniel Island Drive (heading from Smythe Park to Seven Farms Drive) will remain open to traffic. The parade route is as follows.
These temporary closures will occur between approximately 4:00 PM and 4:45 PM. This is a rolling closure, meaning streets will reopen as the parade progresses. The event has been officially permitted by the City of Charleston, and the Charleston Police Department will be managing all traffic control and closures.
