As property owners begin to put up holiday decorations for the upcoming seasonal holidays, we’d like to remind everyone that it is a violation of the Daniel Island CC&R’s as well as City of Charleston ordinances, to place decorations in the right of way area (the area between the curb and the sidewalk). If you presently have placed decorations in this area, please remove them as soon as possible and place them on your personal property. In addition, all religious and holiday symbols and decorations must be removed within 30 days following the occurrence of the applicable holiday. We appreciate everyone’s help with these policies.
