As you may have noticed, the DIPOA has recently begun the installation of new spring/summer seasonal plants and pine straw throughout our common areas. When the Governor and City of Charleston issued the stay at home order in March, the safety of our residents, guests, employees and contractors were our primary concern. In order to do our part to decrease the potential of COVID-19 related exposure or transmissions on Daniel Island, we delayed the seasonal color and pine straw installation.
We are at a point currently, due to some easing up by the Governor and City of Charleston regarding Stay at Home restrictions, that our landscape contractor and vendors can slowly begin to return to a more normal maintenance schedule. Pinestraw and seasonal flower installation should be complete by the first of June. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we continue to resume our common area maintenance and special projects, while continuing to do our part in adhering to social distancing guidelines and other safety measures.
