The groundbreaking for the new City of Charleston Recreation Center on September 27th was a milestone in the construction process. The project has been in design for some time now after soliciting public feedback. The commencement will begin once the land disturbance permits have been secured and the contractor is mobilized. The entire project will take approximately 2 years to complete due to the busy construction market. The City is very excited to see this project through as it will be a much needed resource for the citizens.
