In October 2018, the Daniel Island POA office launched the “What I Love About Daniel Island” Kids Banner Contest for grades K-5. We wanted to see what kids loved most about living and playing on Daniel Island. Dozens of Daniel Island children used their crayons, markers, and paints to each create their own masterpieces.
We were delighted with all of the entries that we received and considered them all unique. It was evident that the kids clearly understood and followed the contest guidelines.
Ten winning designs were chosen from the entries which best interpreted the theme of the contest with originality, vibrancy of colors, imaginative design, and that could be reproduced easily on the vinyl banners.
We know that our community will adore these colorful, original and imaginative new lamp post banners, now exhibited in the heart of Daniel Island, along Seven Farms Drive!
