The Daniel Island Community Association (DICA) continues to allow third-party swim instructors to offer lessons at the Scott Park Pool. All instructors must be approved by the POA office and provide a valid Certificate of Insurance before they are permitted to teach.
Swim lessons are only allowed at the Scott Park Pool. Lessons are not permitted at Pierce Park or Edgefield Park Pools. For a list of approved instructors, please click HERE.
DICA and its insurance provider are committed to allowing residents the flexibility to choose their own swim instructors while maintaining a safe and low-risk environment. Please note that failure to follow DICA’s guidelines and requirements by either residents or instructors may result in the loss of this privilege.
