The DI Deepthinker discussion group will take a look at affirmative action....what it was designed to do, how that has worked out, and what the future may bring. This is a followup to our recent discussion of significant employment issues for men in our economy.
The Daniel Island Deepthinkers will have another guest speaker on October 26 when Charleston City Councilman Boyd Gregg joins to discuss issues specific to the Island as well as City-wide concerns. Boyd and his wife, Paige, live on Daniel Island and have three children. They have been residents of District 1 since 2008.
