Traffic Alert

October 27, 2016

The Daniel Island POA is hosting the Third Annual “Glo For It” glow in the dark, 5K walk/run on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016. The race will be starting at 7:00 pm and will end around 10:00 pm. There will not be any road closures but all cars will be asked to stop for crossing race participants.

This event will impact Smythe Street, Daniel Island Drive, Purcell Lane, Settlers Street, Blakeway Street, Pierce Street, and Grand Council Street. These streets and their intersections will be manned by volunteers and/or the City of Charleston Police Officers. The walking trails near these streets will be closed off for the duration of the race.
