Each year, many Daniel Island residents and businesses generously support nonprofits they care about. To celebrate this spirit of giving, the Daniel Island Community Fund (DICF) is proud to offer a Donation Matching Program. During the fourth quarter of each year, we review requests for match contributions made to nonprofits that make a difference right here in our community.
How Does a Donation Qualify?
- The nonprofit organization must directly impact the Charleston tri-county area.
- DICF will match up to $2,500 per organization if funds are available. On a case-by-case basis, DICF will match more should the funds be available.
- Each resident/business can submit up to 1 donation match request per calendar year.
- Please submit all requests by December 12, 2025, for review during the 4th quarter.
How to Apply
Email your match request to Danielle Stix at Danielle.Stix@dicommunity.org.
Please include:
- The nonprofit organization’s name
- Its Tax ID
- A brief description of what they do
- Why you believe the organization qualifies for a match
- Proof of your 2025 donation (bank statement, confirmation email, etc.)
- Your property address or your Daniel Island business name/address
