Spring Junior Sailing Programs
Registration is open for Spring sailing programs with the Daniel Island Yacht Club! It’s never too soon to start planning for the new year. Make it a New Year’s resolution to take on a new skill or hobby. Junior Sailing is the perfect opportunity to improve one’s skills on the water while developing strong sportsmanship. These programs are open to both novice and skilled sailors, as there are three different fleets to choose from. Safety remains a top priority, as all of the sailing instructors are highly skilled and qualified. Out on the water, young sailors will learn to nurture a love for sailing in a fun, energetic atmosphere.
These programs offer Red, Blue, and Green Fleets depending on the junior sailor’s age and sailing experience. Each session is $500 per sailor. In addition to Junior Sailing sessions, DIYC also offers adult sailing instruction. See below for more information regarding the time and dates of each fleet.
Red Racing Fleet: Racing Sailors Ages 14-18

For private instruction for sailors of all levels, both children and adults, lessons are $100 for an hour. All lessons have a two-hour minimum time limit.
