2023 DICA Board of Directors Election Process and Candidate Bios

The 2023 DICA Board of Directors election is right around the corner. Four candidates have submitted nominations for the four DICA Board of Directors positions. The candidates are Colby Hollifield, Sarah MacCormack, Anatoli Semenoff, and Greg Turner. Even though there are only 4 candidates and there are only 4 positions to be filled on the DICA Board, we must have 10% of property owners participate in the election.

Below is some information regarding the upcoming election as well as the candidate photos and bios.

  • 4 Directors will be elected by the Daniel Island Community Association (DICA) Property Owners via an Electronic election starting on October 27, beginning at 6:00 AM – ending on November 3, at 6:00 PM.
    • If you are unable to vote electronically in the 2023 election of 3 DICA Board Members:
      • You may fill out and sign a secure paper ballot at the POA office at 130 River Landing Drive, Suite 1-C, Monday-Thursday, 9 AM – 4 PM, October 27 – November 3. Your ballot will remain sealed until November 3 when it will be counted with the electronic votes that are received.
      • During this election time, you may vote by telephone by calling (844) 797-4575 (9 am-6 pm, ET), to speak with a Vote-now specialist.
      • You may also assign your vote by proxy by submitting in writing your address and signature and delivering it to the POA office at 130 River Landing Drive, Suite 1-C.
  • Only Daniel Island Community Association (DICA) Property Owners can vote via an electronic election.
    • This election is for the residents who own property within the Daniel Island Community Association (DICA) only. DICA is comprised of all single-family properties and townhomes located south of I-526.
    • DICA Renters are not eligible to vote.
  • 1 vote per property
    • Each household is only allotted one vote.
    • If you have multiple DICA properties, you still will only vote once but your vote will be counted towards as many DICA properties as you own.
  • You must choose 4 of the 4 candidates. If you do not choose 4, your vote will not count.
  • The first email with voting information will be sent to DICA Property Owners on the first day of the election, October 27.
    • The email will come from the email address “elections@vote-now.com
    • The email included a voting website and a unique voting code.
    • If you do not receive an email, please check your spam folder.
  • Need 10% of DICA Property Owners to vote for the election to be valid by meeting our quorum requirement. This means a total of 203 households need to vote to validate the election. Even though there are only 4 candidates and there are only 4 positions to be filled on the DICA Board, we must have 10% of property owners participate in the election.
