While we do not have all of the dates and details to release yet, we would like to let the community know that we are working on several different community events for 2022!
We have partnered with a third-party company, Southern Premier Events, that will be taking on the production of the following four resident favorite events in 2022:
- Concert in the Park – This event will take place on Saturday, May 7th. There will be a Kentucky Derby theme and will feature an 11 Piece Jazz Orchestra
- Independence Day Event – This event will take place on Saturday, July 2nd. There are no other details at this time
- Acoustic Guitar Series at Waterfront Park – Coming Late Spring/Early Summer
- Annual Tree Lighting Event – Coming December 2022
In addition to these larger, third-party events, the following events will also be held on Daniel Island in 2022:
- Valentine’s Making Event – Details coming soon
- Spring and Fall Red Balloon Sales – The spring sale is set to take place Saturday, March 26th from 7 AM – 1 PM. The Fall sale date is TBD
- Credit One Charleston Open – April 2nd – 10th Hosted at the all-new Credit One tennis stadium
- Pat Tillman Run – April 2022
- Shredding Event –Â Spring 2022 – more details to come
- Easter Egg Hunt – This event will be hosted by Young Life of Daniel Island – more details to come
- Daniel Island Night Market – Every other Friday night at Guggenheim Terrace beginning February 4th
