The Daniel Island Library is happy to serve as a drop off location for the Trident Area Agency on Aging’s “Secret Santa for Seniors” program. Trident Area Agency on Aging is a not-for -profit, 501C3 organization that provides assistance, advocacy and answers on aging. As A private, non-governmental organization, we receive grants and donations to fund our services. The organization serves as an Aging and Disability Resource Center for older Americans. As a resource center, it creates a single, coordinated information system which provides access to individuals seeking long-term care, minimizing confusion, enhancing individual choice, and supporting informed decisions.
The holidays can be a lonely time for many seniors who do not have family or friends to celebrate with. With your help we can put a smile on a senior’s face by donating one of the following gifts:
- Socks
- Slippers
- Blankets
- Kitchen & Bath Towels
Once the item is purchased, you can drop the gift in the “Secret Santa for Seniors” box located in the library lobby until between now and Dec. 16th.
