The Berkeley County Animal Center is committed to maintaining a fiscally-responsible, healthy, safe, and loving environment for rescued, abandoned, abused, or neglected animals of Berkeley County (including Daniel Island) where all animals receive appropriate care and attention at all times and are treated with dignity and respect while pursuing the placement of the animals into safe, lifelong homes.
The Berkeley County Animal Center is in need of supplies to be able to continue to provide the care that these animals deserve. The Daniel Island Community Foundation is hosting a drive from May 9th through May 26th for the shelter.
You can find the center’s Amazon wishlist HERE, or see below for more urgent needs.
Donations can be dropped off at the POA Office (130 River Landing Drive, Suite 1C) Monday-Thursday from 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
We are also accepting monetary donations. Please click HERE and donate to the DICFoundation (501c3) Matching Campaign. Donations received via this link throughout the year will be doubled up to $5,000 when donated via the Daniel Island Community Foundation.
