The Daniel Island Yacht Club is offering a summer sailing program for youth ages 7-18. Their summer camps are designed to provide youth with opportunities to grow in their love for the water and build friendships along the way. Daniel Island Yacht Club has a fleet of Collegiate z420s, Open Skiffs, and Opti/ Sailqubes which are made available to Junior Sailors on a first-registration basis.

The mission of the Daniel Island Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program is to develop knowledgeable youth sailors and foster in them a lifelong love of and involvement in sailing.

Program Goals

• Safety is the number one priority at all times.
• Develop sportsmanship, seamanship, integrity, and interpersonal skills.
• Create a fun atmosphere for sailors of all levels and interests.
• Instill responsibility for boats, equipment, and facilities.
• Provide high-quality instruction that is tailored to the individual sailor’s needs.

Session 2: July 11-15 & July 18-22

Session 3: July 25-29 & August 1-5
