6th Annual Exchange Club Of Daniel Island Field Of Honor
June 20 @ 12:00 am - 11:59 pm
An event every day that begins at 12:00 am, repeating until July 11, 2021
The Exchange Club of Daniel Island is proudly hosting their 6th annual Field of Honor® display of over 700 the United States of America flags. The Stars and Stripes will stand posted in a memorable display of red, white, and blue on the grassy lawn of River Landing Drive, and at Guggenheim Park. These full-sized flags will fly on seven and a half foot-high flagpoles to honor your heroes including military, veterans, first responders, teachers, and hometown heroes.
The Daniel Island display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships, and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation online at https://www.healingfield.org/event/danielsislandsc21/
For $25 per flag, you can honor individuals who, through their service and sacrifice, have become heroes in your life. If you prefer, stop by our onsite sales tent to place your order in person. The onsite sales tent will be located at the Field of Honor® near 130 River Landing Drive. The sales tent will be open periodically during the Field of Honor display and the schedule will be made available prior to the scheduled event dates.
Flag sponsors may pick up their sponsored flags to keep and display as a memento of this year’s event or the flags may be donated back to the Exchange Club for reuse next year. Pick-up time is 9 AM Sunday, July 11th at the Field of Honor® site on River Landing Drive.
This year in conjunction with the Field of Honor, the Exchange Club will again sponsor a blood drive being conducted by The Blood Connection. The drive will be held on Monday, June 26, 2021, from 9 AM to 2 PM at 145 River Landing Drive. Donors may sign up in advance HERE or by calling The Blood Connection at 854-429-1700. Please join in this ever-important effort!
The Exchange Club of DI offers a special thanks to their event sponsors– The Daniel Island Community Fund, The Daniel Island News, and Wells Fargo Advisors. Because of their generous support, 100% of proceeds from your individual flag sponsorships will benefit four local charities.
