SUMMARY:4th Annual DI Rec Holiday Market
DESCRIPTION:The 4th Annual Holiday Market will be held November 9\, 2024\, 10 AM – 4 PM\, at the Daniel Island Recreation Center\, 160 Fairbanks Drive\, Daniel Island\, with free entry\, and plenty of free parking. \nThis 4th Annual Holiday Market will be a Pandora’s box full of talented artists\, designers\, and boutique merchants. There is a combination of new and seasoned vendors and guests are assured to see exclusive merchandise that they have never seen before. This is a boutique-style market\, it is small; with only 25-30 vendors and they are holding it early in November so people can get a jump on their holiday shopping and to allow for special orders to arrive before the Holidays. The incredible part about this Market is the wide variety of talented artists\, designers\, and entrepreneurs from right here on the Island. The vendors not from Daniel Island are all local and from the Charleston area. \nSome of the merchandise includes luxury home decor\, fine jewelry\, handmade chocolates\, designer pillows\, fresh flowers\, oyster accessories\, hand-painted Lucite trays\, clothing\, ocean apparel\, photography\, tapestries\, whimsical handmade Santa’s\, leather goods\, monograms\, and more and there will also be a fine artist doing a demo and selling her work. Finally\, there will be a 50/50 auction with 50% of the proceeds going to the winning ticket holder and 50% going to the local charity RAKL Random Acts of Kindness of the Lowcountry. \nLast year this lively event had vendors both inside and outside in tents on the Center’s Courtyard.
